Poor chickens at the Tulelake/Butte Valley Fair in Tulelake,
California, they were ready for slaughter. Their specie of chicken grows faster
than other species of chicken, so they are ready to slaughter and go to market
at 7 weeks old. Mom and I felt sorry for them.
I live in northern California. I am a photographer, writer, poet, abstract artist and I also make YouTube videos.

BLUE-AND-YELLOW MACAW
Scientific Name: Ara Ararauna
The Blue-and-Yellow Macaw, also known as the Blue-and-Gold
Macaw can be found in the swamps and forests of South America. Macaws are a
large parrot species that can grow up to 33 inches from head to end of tail
feathers and are very intelligent and sociable. They make good pets but are
very vocal (so do not live in an apartment if you want to be friends with your
neighbors and landlords). This Macaw was named Jimmy and Jimmy was very vocal
and opinionated, as you will see and hear but also very adorable. He gets a
little grouchy and wants attention.
This was a Blue-and-Yellow Macaw that was at the
Tulelake/Butte Valley Fair in Tulelake, California that Brad’s World of
Reptiles had on display to teach people about these animals. Their Facebook
page can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/BradsWorldReptiles/
