Stukel Mountain is located in Southern Oregon near the
Oregon and California border. The photograph “Stukel Mountain” I took from just
outside of Tulelake, California in Northern California. This was taken on a
sunny, but chilling, winter evening. The sun was creating a golden brown effect
on Stukel Mountain as it made its way to set and the farmland surrounding
Tulelake was also bathed in this color. It was quite beautiful.
